IAA received International Arch of Europe Award

Indian Aviation Academy (IAA) on 8 May 214 was awarded with the International Arch of Europe Award for quality and technology in Gold Category. IIA was selected for the award by the Business Initiative Directives Group (BIDG), Madrid (Spain).

The award was received by Rajiv Goel, Director; IAA from Jose E. Prieto, President & CEO, BID Group at a function held in Frankfurt, Germany. Later, this award was presented to Alok Sinha, Chairman of Airports Authority of India.

The Award Criteria
Award criteria are based on concepts of Total Quality Management, such as the Balanced Scorecard and Growth and Competitive Advantage Theory.  The selection committee chooses companies which demonstrate practices of quality, awareness and excellence.

About the Indian Aviation Academy (IAA)

Indian Aviation Academy is a joint training academy of Airports Authority of India (AAI), Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). It was set up under the agis of NIAMAR-Society on 22 July 2010. It aims to provide education, training and research in the field of aviation management, in ASIA-PACIFIC Region.

The Academy has collaboration with several international agencies such as ICAO, IATA, ACI, FAA, European Union and CATC, Thailand.
