India retained the top position in the ODI rankings released by ICC (International Cricket Council) on 3 August 2013 in Dubai. With 123 rating points, India is the number one team followed by Australia with 114 and England with 112 points. India’s stand on the rankings chart has strengthened after it won the ODI series in Zimbabwe 5-0. India has been at the top of the ranking list since February 2013.
In the rankings of the T-20 format, India has been placed at the third position below Sri Lanka and Pakistan. As per the latest rankings, Hashim Amla retained his top position in the batting category followed by AB Devilliers at 2nd and Kumar Sangakkara at 3rd Position. Virat Kohli stood at 4th and Mahendra Singh Dhoni at 6th Position.
