The esteemed 25th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards are scheduled to take place in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, at the JECC Sitapura on March 7–9, 2025. The announcement was made during an official agreement signing event at the famous Albert Hall, attended by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari.
Preparations for this historic occasion officially began with the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IIFA Vice President Suresh Iyer and Rajasthan Tourism Commissioner VP Singh.
IIFA Budget
The Rajasthan government has set aside a total sum of ₹100 crore for the occasion. This comprises ₹20 crore from the Rajasthan Industrial and Investment Corporation (RIICO), ₹50 crore from the state government, and ₹30 crore from the tourist department.
Officials predict the state's tourism and cultural sectors will greatly benefit from this major event.

How Will IIFA Benefit Rajasthan?
The importance of the IIFA Awards returning to India, especially to Rajasthan, a state renowned for its rich cultural legacy, was emphasized by Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. She claimed that the occasion would garner interest from around the world and highlight the state's well-known and lesser-known tourism spots. Rajasthan's attraction as a filmmaking hub may be further enhanced by the presence of film directors and producers at the event. This may inspire additional film shoots in the state thus improving tourism in the state.
The IIFA Awards 2025 would improve Rajasthan's standing internationally and open up new job and investment prospects. International movie stars are predicted to create opportunities for economic expansion and the growth of the tourist industry, supporting the government's objectives of raising tourism receipts and drawing in foreign capital.
IIFA’s 25th Anniversary at Jaipur
Since their establishment in 2000, the IIFA Awards have grown to be a well acknowledged event honoring Indian cinema. The 2025 edition in Jaipur will be a historic occasion, commemorating 25 years of IIFA and the achievements of Indian film in the new millennium.
Editions have been held in 14 nations and 18 locations to date. Leading Bollywood celebs will perform at the event, while the best in the business will get awards.
