Two athletes- Krishnakumar Sharma and Saroj Sihag, who were crowned champions in the all-India Police championships in Thiruvananthapuram in February 2010, was tested positive for banned drugs. They were reported by the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) and currently await disciplinary proceedings to be launched by the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA). Sharma, in Bihar Police won the discus title in the Police meet. Sihag, representing the CRPF, won both the discus (53.32m) and shot put (14.96m) titles.
