The voting for fifth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 was held on May 6, 2019 in 51 constituencies spread over seven states.
The polling was held for 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Rajasthan, 7 each in Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, 5 in Bihar and 4 in Jharkhand. In Jammu and Kashmir, polling took place in Pulwama and Shopian districts of Anantnag and Ladakh constituencies.

State-wise highlights
In Uttar Pradesh, the fifth phase of polling will decide the fate of a total of 182 candidates including 26 women across 14 constituencies - Sitapur, Lucknow, Raibarely, Amethi, Kaushambi, Gonda, Banda, Fatehpur, Faizabad and Behraich.
In Bihar, the voting is underway for 5 Lok Sabha constituencies - Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Hajipur and Saran. 82 candidates including six women are in the fray.
In Rajasthan, Phase V of General Elections 2019 will see polling in 12 Parliamentary Constituency - Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Nagaur. 134 candidates including 16 women candidates will be in the fray.
In Jharkhand, polling is underway in four Parliamentary constituencies - Kodarma, Ranchi, Khunti and Hazaribagh. The state will also vote in the sixth and seventh phase of the General Elections 2019 scheduled to be held on May 12 and May 19, respectively.
In West Bengal, polling is progressing peacefully in Bangaon, Barrackpore, Howrah, Uleberia, Sreerampur, Hooghly and Arambag constituencies.
In Madhya Pradesh, polling is underway for Tikamgarh, Damoh, Khajuraho, Satna, Rewa, Hoshangabad and Betul constituencies.
In Jammu and Kashmir, polling is progressing peacefully in Ladakh and Anantnag Parliamentary constituencies.
