MCC XI won the match played to celebrate 200 years of Lord’s Cricket Ground

Sachin Tendulkar-led MCC XI won over Shane Warne-led Rest of the World XI in a match played in honour of the Lord’s bi-centenary year.

Marylebone Cricket Club XI on 5 July 2014 won the match played to celebrate 200-years (bi-centenary) of Lord’s Cricket Ground – the Home of Cricket. Sachin Tendulkar-led MCC XI beat Shane Warne-led Rest of the World XI in Lord’s in London, UK.

Batting first MCC XI made 296 for 3 wickets. Aaron Finch with unbeatable 181 was the highest scorer of the match. On the other hand, Yuvraj Singh of Rest of the World XI was able to make 132 runs and helped the team to reach a respectable score of 293.
