Pakistan and Afghanistan on 16 April 2011 decided to set up a two-tier joint commission at Kabul regarding the withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan during Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani’s visit to Afghanistan. The joint commission between India and Afghnaistan will help in the reconciliation process of the withdrawal of foreign troops.
The Afghanistan Pakistan joint commission will be headed by the heads of both the states Pakistan and Afghanistan and the joint commission will include the chiefs of the military and intelligence services of the two countries. The joint commission is supported by USA.
