Penguin Books India in the month of July 2013 launched their new website that caters particularly to the young readers. The new portal for young readers is called youngreaders.penguinbooksindia.com.
The new portal enables child-friendly navigation. It also has organised and interesting sections that can enable the readers to remain engaged throughout the website. The website has the section called- Surf. Under this section, there is a category called- Read What. This category offers various subjects of interests for the children. The subjects include non-fiction, classic, anthology, short stories, young adults, crime and many more.
The new website includes includes works of some of the popular authors such as Asha Nehemiah, Rabindranath Tagore, Herge as well as Ruskin Bond. The website is the complete package or platform for children and enables them to inculcate reading habits in them.
Penguin Books India explained that the endeavour of the website is to engage the young readers so that they develop love for reading and direct their minds in creative direction.
Imprints of Penguin such as DK, Inked, Ladybird as well as Puffin are also available on the website.
