Swede golfer Rikard Karlberg on 5 December 2010 won the $1.25 million Hero Honda Indian Open golf title at the Delhi Golf Club. Karlberg became the first professional to come through the Qualifying School and win two titles in the same year at the same venue. Karlberg had in April 2010 won the SAIL Open title at Delhi Golf Club. When he began the Hero Honda Indian Open golf tournament he was third on the Asian Tour's Order of Merit. His victory earned him a three year exemption from the qualifiers on the Tour.
Manav Jaini of India along Shiv Kapur shared the third spot. Other Indians like Mukesh Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Arjun Atwal finished occupied the top nione positions.
