SC Collegium Recommends 7 Judges as Permanent: Check Full List

The Supreme Court Collegium, led by CJI Sanjiv Khanna, has recommended appointing seven additional judges as permanent judges in the Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab & Haryana High Courts. Here are the names of the newly recommended judges.

Under the direction of Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna, the Supreme Court Collegium suggested seven more judges be appointed as permanent judges for the Delhi, Karnataka, and Punjab & Haryana High Courts. 

The final decision was made during a meeting with members Justices B.R. Gavai, Surya Kant, Hrishikesh Roy, and Abhay S. Oka. It was made public on December 12, 2024.
