About Shubhalakshmi Panse
• Shubhalakshmi Panse (SA Panse) is a Gold medalist in M.Sc. from Pune University and also holds an MBA from Drexel University, USA.
• Before taking charge as ‘Chairman & Managing Director’, Allahabad Bank in October 2012, she worked as Executive Director, Vijaya Bank where she was in charge of the administration and Business Development of the Bank.
• During her tenure with Vijaya Bank, Panse shouldered various key portfolios including Recovery, Credit Monitoring, Legal, Funds Management & Accounts, Information Technology.
• She is the first woman to lead the Allahabad bank- India's oldest bank
