Sistema Shyam Teleservices launched messaging app MBuddy for feature phones

Sistema Shyam Teleservices in the second week of May 2014 launched a messaging app for low-end CDMA devices called MBuddy. The company will charge 15 rupees per month for the service for MBuddy that is capable of sending unlimited messages. MBUddy also can be used for sharing pictures and audio files.

MBuddy as a service can be used on a handset of 1000 rupees with basic features for instant messaging, photo-sharing purposes and will also provide an access to social media. It can be used on different platforms like CDMA phones, non-Android dual-SIM headsets and 4G devices.

The app MBuddy has been developed by Sistema Shyam Teleservices in partnership with Singapore-based Vocable Ptv Ltd. to serve people at the bottom of the pyramid.
