He was a great scientist who served as the President of India during 2002 – 2007. He was bestowed with India’s great honours - Padma Bhushan in 1981, Padma Vibhushan in 1990 and the Bharat Ratna in the year 1997.

ICC alter super over rules, boundary count scrapped

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has changed the rules of the ‘Super Over’ for all the major tournaments. As per the new rule, if both the playing teams make equal runs in the semi-finals and the finals even in the super over, then the super over will happen again. This process will continue until one of the teams emerges as the winner.
