1. (a) Karolina Bielawaska
Poland's Karolina Bielawaska was crowned Miss World 2021 at the 70th edition of the beauty pageant at San Juan, Puerto Rico. The first runner-up was Miss USA Shree Saini, while the second runner-up was Olivia Yace of Cote d'Ivoire. Karolina Bielawaska was crowned by Jamaica's Toni-Ann Singh, who was Miss World 2019.

Will Smith won the Best Actor for his role in 'King Richard' at the 75th edition of British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA). Joanna Scanlan won BAFTA 2022 Best Actress award for her role in 'After Love' and 'The Power of the Dog' won BAFTA for Best Picture and Best Director.

The Karnataka High Court on March 15, 2022, dismissed various petitions challenging a ban on hijab in educational institutions. The High Court in its judgment stated that wearing the hijab is not an essential religious practice of Islam.
4. (a) N Chandrasekarana
Tata Sons Chairman Natrajan Chandrasekarana has been appointed as the new chairman of Air India. He is the Chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company and promoter of over 100 Tata operating companies. He joined the Tata Sons Board in October 2016 and was appointed as its Chairman in January 2017.

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe is a British-Iranian National, who was arrested by the Iranian Government on April 3, 2016 on charges of plotting to overthrow the Iranian government. Despite her denying the charges, she was detained for six years. She was finally allowed to leave Tehran on March 16 after months of negotiations.

National Vaccination Day is observed every year on March 16 to convey the significance of vaccination as well as its role in public health. The day aims to create awareness and sends the message that how vaccination or immunization is the most effective way of preventing highly infectious diseases.

The registrations for the ISRO Young Scientist Program 2022 began on March 10, 2022 and the last date is on April 10, 2022. All interested candidates will have to complete four steps before 4 pm on April 10th. The Young Scientist Program will be conducted by ISRO during the summer holidays for a period of two weeks.
8. c) Jhulan Goswami
India's Jhulan Goswami has created history by claiming 250 wickets in Women's ODIs. Jhulan Goswami achieved the historic feat with the wicket of Tammy Beaumont in India's match against England in the ICC Women's World Cup 2022 on March 16, 2022. She has become the first-ever woman bowler to breach the 250 mark.

India has jumped to the fourth place in the ICC World Test Championship Points Table 2021-23 after a series win against Sri Lanka. India beat Sri Lanka by 238 runs in its second pink ball test match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, gaining 12 crucial World Test Championship points.
10. (c) Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant scored the fastest 50 by an Indian in Test cricket, surpassing Kapil Dev's record during India’s second test against Sri Lanka at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. Rishabh Pant's 50 came off 28 deliveries, which is the 13th fastest fifty in Tests in the world.
