Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy announced on November 22, 2021 that Andhra Pradesh will have only one capital- Amravati. The decision puts to rest the row over three capitals of Andhra Pradesh.

The G7 summit of Foreign and Development Ministers is scheduled to take place from December 10-12, 2021 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. This would be the second in-person meeting of the G7 Foreign Ministers this year.

US President Joe Biden has invited more than 100 countries to a virtual summit on democracy to be held on December 9-10, 2021. The invite list of the democracy summit includes 110 countries such as India and Taiwan but excludes countries like China and Russia and Afghanistan.
