The cancer research agency of WHO, The International Agency for Research on Cancer said on 31 May 2011 that the use of cell phones and other wireless communication devices can cause cancer to human beings. It is found that these devices generate the radio frequency electromagnetic fields which increase the risk of giloma, a malignant kind of brain cancer.
The research agency’s findings were based on its review of the human evidence coming from epidemiological studies.
