XV World Police & Fire Games 2013 started from 1 August 2013 at Belfast, Northern Ireland. These games will be held till 10 August 2013. At these games, Indian Police Team displayed strong performance and won 8 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.

About the World Police and Fire Games
• The World Police and Fire Games are 3rd largest International multi sport event in the world.
• These events are held in European continent for first time.
• These games are organised by the World Police and Fire Games Federation since 1989.
• The games are open to all working and retired Police and Fire Department personnel from all over the world.
• Over 7400 athletes as well as sportspersons are participating at the ongoing Belfast Games.
• From the Indian contingent side, 24 men as well as 15 women police sports persons are taking part in various events such as athletics, archery, boxing, judo, swimming and wrestling.
