CDS Result 2024 Out: Get Direct Link to Download CDS 1 Result

UPSC has released the CDS Result 2024 on 1st July 2024. Those who appeared for the CDS 1 exam can download the result with roll number from the official website of UPSC.

Candidates can download the CDS result 2024 on 31st July 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the CDS 1 exam can download the CDS 1 result PDF through the direct link that has been shared on this page here. The UPSC CDS result has the list of the roll numbers of the candidates who are successful in the written test.

Those who have qualified the exam will be called to appear for the SSB interview. The CDS 1 scorecard shall be declared along with the final UPSC CDS result. The final result is prepared by considering the marks of the candidates obtained in the written test and SSB interview.

How to Check CDS Result 2024?

The CDS result shall be released in online mode on the UPSC website. The following are the steps that will be helpful to check CDS result online.

• Visit the official website of UPSC, which is upsc.gov.in

• Click on the link that displays ‘written result’ on the UPSC homepage. 

• Find the link ‘CDS result’ on the home page
• On a new page, the result PDF opens
• Candidates need to check their roll numbers through Ctrl+F
• The result PDF displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates
• Download the CDS result PDF and save it for future reference.

CDS Result 2024: How to Calculate CDS Marks?

UPSC uses the following method to calculate the CDS marks.

• For each correct answer, candidates are given one mark.
• For each incorrect response, 1/3 mark will be deducted as a negative marking.
• If the candidate marks more than one option then it will be treated incorrect and a negative marking will be awarded. 

What After CDS Result 2024?

After the declaration of CDS result 2024, selected candidates will be called for the SSB interview and medical round. Candidates who fail to appear for the SSB interview and medical round will be disqualified from the exam. The details regarding the CDS SSB interview and medical round will be published by UPSC on its website.

The CDS scorecard 2024 will be released by UPSC in PDF format after the final declaration of the CDS 1 result. All the candidates will be able to check their marks in the written test and SSB interview on UPSC website.

CDS Result Previous Year Statistics

CDS exam is conducted twice in a year for recruitment of suitable candidates into Army, Navy and Air Force. The candidates are selected after clearing the written exam and SSB interview. The qualified candidates are then admitted to the prestigious Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy, and Officers' Training Academy (OTA).  In 2022, a total of 261 candidates were admitted to IMA.
