List of South American Countries and their Parliaments
The term Parliament is derived from Anglo-Norman term parlement which means ‘talk’. It includes various kinds of deliberative, consultative, and judicial assemblies. In modern politics refers to the political helm of affairs related to the legislative, elected body of government that hold the three functions like representing the electorate, making laws, and overseeing the government (i.e., hearings, inquiries).
