Due to the massive crowd at the Mauni Amavasya bath, chaos broke out, leading to the stampede. CM Yogi Adityanath has urged devotees to stay calm and avoid rushing to bathe at Sangam Nose.
More Trains being Arranged for Devotees
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and requested additional trains to Prayagraj.
- The Railway Minister informed that over 360 trains have already been operated.
- Empty trains are also being sent to Prayagraj to help evacuate devotees quickly.
