The 1973-batch IFS officer Nalin Surie took charge as the High Commissioner of India to United Kingdom. He succeeded Shiv Shankar Mukherjee. Surie had served the Indian missions in Hong Kong, Brussels, Dar-es- Salaam, Thimphu, New York, Warsaw and Beijing before his new appointment.
