However, Northern Railway has now announced a return to normal train operations from October 11. Passengers can expect services to follow their regular schedules, including their planned arrivals and departures.

Are Markets and Shops Open in Delhi Today?
The markets and shops in Delhi may be open on Sunday, October 11, but there might be restrictions of security in areas surrounding Jantar Mantar and elsewhere due to the ongoing protest.
However, there is no confirmed directive regarding the closure of all markets and shops in the entire city of Delhi. If you plan to visit any market, it is advisable to find out the operating status of that market from official sources before going there, especially if it is in areas like Jantar Mantar and the central Delhi region.
What Should You Keep in Mind While Travelling in Delhi Today?
With some restrictions lifted and security arrangements continuing in certain areas, commuters should keep the following points in mind on Sunday, October 11:
-
Check official updates: Follow Delhi Police, Delhi Traffic Police, DMRC and Northern Railway for the latest announcements before starting your journey.
-
Allow extra travel time: Keep additional time in hand when travelling to railway stations, the airport or other important destinations, particularly through central Delhi.
-
Do not believe rumours: Avoid relying on unverified social media posts about station closures, train cancellations or market shutdowns. Check information through official and verified sources before making travel decisions.
