AIIMS Exam 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has decided to postponed AIIMS Semester Exam 2021 for 2nd Semester students who are pursuing their undergraduate i.e. MBBS studies currently. The official notification states that Practical, Clinical and Viva Examination has been deferred for MBBS second and final-year students as of now. As per the date sheet or timetable released earlier, these exams were scheduled to be held in May 2021, but have been postponed to a later date in the wake of the deteriorating situation due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Official Circular Released
With several fake news and misinformation about AIIMS Semester Exams 2021 doing the rounds on social media, then institute has decided to announce the postponement of semester exams for 1st and 2nd year MBBS students via an official circular. The official notification has been released on the AIIMS website and reads “"In view of the evolving situation related to COVID-19 outbreak and decision of the competent authority in this regard, following Supplementary Examination are deferred till further notice". New Exam Dates to be Notified Later
Furthermore, the official notification about postponement of AIIMS Exam 2021 also reads that “Accordingly, dates of Practical/Clinical/Viva-voce Examination of above scheduled in May 2021 stands deferred and same will be decided by the competent authority at a later stage and revised dates will be declared in due course of time". As and when the situation improves enough for the medical institute to hold exams, the detailed revised time table for the same would be uploaded on the official website i.e. aiimsexams.ac.in.
