AP School Reopening News: As per the latest update, the Andhra Pradesh Government has announced that it will be allowing partial reopening of schools for Class 9 and above students starting from tomorrow i.e. 21st Sept 2020. State Government has informed students that they have the choice to attend the classes either physically or virtually. To put it simply, from tomorrow onwards, Class 9 to 12 students from Andhra Pradesh will have the option to attend their classes either in online format from home or opt to go for physical or face-to-face classes that will be held at schools.

Official Notification Released

As per an official release, "Schools will reopen starting Monday, students from 9th to 12th standards may attend regular classes according to their wish or connect online. In line with the Unlock 4.0 Guidelines issued by the Home Ministry, the state government of Andhra Pradesh has allowed schools to reopen for students from ninth standard to 12th standard. In line with the Home Ministry’s Guidelines, the state government has also instructed all the district level authorities to make the necessary arrangements for reopening of schools in the state from Monday onwards. Schools have been instructed to adhere to all the Coronavirus safety measures for operating in a safe environment. The SOPs have been issued by the MHA recently.

Parent’s Consent Compulsory

While students in their senior classes have been given the choice of attending the classes either as regular classes at their schools or via online classes that were being held earlier; they will still require consent from their parents for the same. Students who plan to visit schools for regular classes would have to carry a written consent from their parents and guardians allowing or permitting them to attend the regular classes.
