The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reminded affiliated schools to submit accurate student details for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2027. The Board has asked schools to check all candidate information carefully and ensure that the List of Candidates (LOC) is submitted by October 21.

CBSE has also advised schools to review its earlier circulars before entering student details. Staff members responsible for filling out the forms should be familiar with the guidelines to avoid errors.

The Board has asked principals to inform parents about the importance of providing correct information and the possible consequences of submitting incorrect details. Regular follow-ups by school authorities will also help ensure that the data is submitted accurately and on time.

CBSE LOC Submission 2027: Important Dates

CBSE had issued a prior intimation about LOC submission on September 10. It followed this with a detailed notification on September 17, explaining the requirements for entering student details for the 2026-27 Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.

The Board also conducted a webinar on September 29 to explain the importance of accurate LOC and registration data. Schools have been asked to follow the prescribed guidelines and meet the October 21 deadline to avoid problems at a later stage.

Why Is Accurate Student Data Important?

According to CBSE, schools must ensure that student details are correct and that the appropriate subjects have been selected. Errors in candidate information can cause difficulties during the examination process.

The Board has stressed that school authorities should check the information before submitting the LOC. Parents should also provide accurate details and review the information shared with the school.
