Courses for which Delhi University will be conducting entrance examinations have been increased from this academic year from nine to 13. The four new courses for which Delhi University will be conducting entrance examinations are Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of prosthetics and Orthotics and Masters in Physiotherapy.
Courses for Admission Test
According to a statement issued by Delhi university Chairman Rajiv Gupta, from the 2021-22 academic year onwards the admissions to the four courses - Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of prosthetics and Orthotics and Masters in Physiotherapy will be conducted through the Delhi University Entrance Test in an effort to line in with the motive of the National Education Policy - One University One Examination.
He further added that the DUET 2021 exams for the postgraduate programmes and a few undergraduate programmes along with M.Phil and PhD programmes will be conducted by the National Testing Agency and the schedule for the same will be announced soon. He also stated that for the admissions this year, the number of test centres will also be increased as it was a prominent demand from the candidates.
According to the statement issued by the university, the Non-NET candidates who wish to seek admissions for the M.Phil and PhD programmes are required to appear for the DUET 2021 exams which will be conducted in the Computer-based mode for all the programmes.
