GATE 2022 Official Toppers List 2022 (OUT): IIT Kharagpur has formally released the Official GATE 2022 Toppers List. The release of GATE 2022 Toppers List comes merely days after the declaration of GATE 2022 Result, which was announced on 17th March 2022. The Official GATE 2022 Toppers List has been released on the official website and made available to the candidates via the GOAPS portal – gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Meanwhile, the exam authority has postponed the release of GATE 2022 Scorecard, by one more day and it will be available to the candidates from 22nd March 2022. GATE 2022 Toppers List Released Branch-wise / Paper Wise:
Days after the declaration of GATE 2022 Result on 17th March 2022, IIT KGP has released the GATE 2022 Toppers List. The Official Toppers List for GATE 2022 Exam has been published online and made available on the GOAPS Portal – gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The toppers list has been released both branch-wise or paper-wise and provides names of the candidates for each of the engineering streams for which GATE 2022 exam was held. How are GATE 2022 Toppers Identified?
GATE 2022 Toppers are identified on the basis of their GATE Score which is marked out of 1000 and then normalized to marks out of 100. Based on these two factors, GATE AIR – All India Rank is issued to the candidates.
What after GATE 2022 Result?
Following the declaration of GATE 2022, candidates who have qualified in the exam will be able to participate in CCMT Counselling Process based on which students will be able to admit to PG courses offered by IITs, NITs and other premier technology institutes. Apart from this, GATE 2022 score is also used by several PSUs to recruit engineering talent into their ranks.

According to the key statistics available so far, a total of 7,11,542 candidates had appeared for the PG entrance exam of which 1,26,813 have qualified. Among the candidates who have qualified, the gender-wise break-up is as follows:
