What is GUJCET 2022 Exam Date?
According to the official notification published by GSEB, Gujarat Common Entrance Test, GUJCET 2022 will be held on 18th April 2022. The announcement of the exam date has been done as part of the official notification published on the website gseb.org. Along with the date, the exam authority has also notified that the State-level Common Entrance Test will be held on the same day for all students i.e., Group A, Group B and Group AB. Providing details about the GUJCET 2022 Exam Time Slots, the notification says that the exam would be held from 10 AM to 4 PM in the afternoon at district-level exam centres.
What is GUJCET 2022 Syllabus?
Being a graduation level entrance test for Engineering Degree and Diploma as well Pharmacy courses, the GUJCET Syllabus remains the same as that is followed for Class 12 Science Stream students in the state. Students preparing for GUJCET 2022 should consider GSEB Class 12 Science stream syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as the core syllabus for the entrance exam. In addition to this, the exam authority has also recommended NCERT books on Mathematics and NCERT Class 12 Books that are prescribed for Class 12 Board exams as part of the GUJCET 2022 Syllabus.
What is GUJCET 2022 exam pattern?
With the Exam Date announced, it is time for students to start preparing for the GUJCET 2022 Examination. In this regard, the GSEB has notified the detailed exam pattern for the state-level examination along with key sections as well as the questions and marks allotted under each of them. In total, the GUJCET 2022 exam will have four sections or subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The GUJCET 2022 Exam Pattern has been explained in the table given below:

Candidates should also note that the GUJCET 2022 Exam will be held with the help of OMR Sheets in which correct answers will have to be marked. For Physics and Chemistry Subjects, candidates will be provided with a common question paper and OMR sheet containing 80 questions. On the other hand, for Biology and Mathematics subjects, separate question papers and OMR Sheets containing 40 questions each will be given to the candidates. Moreover, the exam will be held in English and Gujarati mediums/languages.
