ICSI CS Exam 2021: As per the updates, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will close down the opt-out window for ICSI CS exam 2021 on 20th August 2021. The opt-out window has been activated for candidates who wanted to opt-out from June to December exams on 1st August. They can opt-out from the examination by visiting the official website of ICSI - icsi.edu. The facility is for the students of foundation, executive, and professional courses.
Those opting out due to COVID-19 need to provide details that either they or their immediate family suffered due to COVID-19 from 20th July to 20th August 2021. Candidates will be required to provide supporting documents for the same.
How to avail ICSI CS 2021 opt-out facility?
Those who avail the opt-out facility will be allowed to appear for the next session and carry forward their benefits. Candidates can avail of the opt-out facility till today on the official website of ICSI on icsi.edu. Go through the steps below to know how to opt out from June to December session exam -
- Step 1 - Go to the official website of ICSI - icsi.edu.
- Step 2 - Click on the link that reads ‘Latest@ICSI’.
- Step 3 - Candidates will be redirected to a new page.
- Step 4 - Click on the link that read ‘Link of Request to Opt-Out from June 2021 to December 2021 Exam Session (1st August to 20th August 2021)’.
- Step 5 - Fill the google form with the required credentials.
- Step 6 - Click on submit tab.
Further, aspirants who want to request an opt-out option after 20th August will require a COVID-19 positive report as evidence certificate that they or their immediate family members contracted the virus between 20th July to 20th August. For those candidates, the opt-out option will be available till 4th September 2021.
ICSI CS examinations were scheduled between 10th and 20th August 2021. The examination, now being held following the COVID-19 protocols, was earlier supposed to be conducted in June. However, it was deferred in the wake of the pandemic.
