Update: Finally, the big day for all the students awaiting their Maharashtra SSC Result 2016 has arrived today. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSB) has announced the SSC Results 2016 today i.e. 6th June at 1 PM. The MSBSHSB Result for class 10 students was declared from the Pune office of the Maharashtra Board and can now be checked online on popular result portal maharashtra10.jagranjosh.com.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has clarified that the provisional SSC Result 2016 for class 10 students of Maharashtra Board would be issued today online through maharashtra10.jagranjosh.com. Along with this the MSBSHSE secretary Krishnakumar Patil has said that the marksheets for Maharashtra 10th Result 2016 will be distributed on June 15 at 3 PM at the respective schools of concerned students.
As per reports, the MSBSHSE 10th Result will be declared from the Pune office of the board through a small declaration ceremony. Maharashtra minister of school education Shri Vinod Tawde along with Maharashtra Board chairman Shri G.K.Mhamane are likely to grace the declaration ceremony for Maharashtra SSC Results 2016. Following the formal declaration by the dignitaries, students will be able to check their Maharashtra Results online on the official website mahresult.nic.in, mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in and result.mkcl.org. Results would also be available on popular result portal maharashtra10.jagranjosh.com.
Student Participation & Examination Schedule
This year, a total of 17,27,496 students from 21,480 schools have appeared for and are now anticipating their Maharashtra State Board SSC Result 2016. Of the total number of examinees, 9,55,186 are male candidates and 7,72,310 are female candidates. The Maharashtra Secondary School Certificate examination was held from 1st March 2016 till 29th March 2016 at 4,535 exam centres. for Maharashtra SSC Board Exams, 16, 60,689 are fresh candidates, which has seen rise of about 83,378 from last year. Considering the increased participation of students, the overall pass percentage is also expected to rise this year for the SSC Results of Maharashtra Board.

About Maharashtra Education Board
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) were established in January 1966 and started the process to conduct examinations from 1974 onwards. It conducts the HSC and SSC examinations through its nine divisional boards in Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Latur, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nasik, Kolhapur and Ratnagiri. The main objective of the board is to regulate, supervise and control school education in Maharashtra. A total of 21,000 schools for SSC and 7,000 schools for HSC are affiliated to the board.
