Mumbai University Final Year Exam 2020: As per the latest update, Mumbai University is all set to hold its Final Year Exams 2020 in line with the UGC Guidelines issued earlier. The exams are scheduled to commence from 1st October will be held in Online format which will see students answer MCQ questions. The Exams will continue until 17th October 2020 as per the dates released by the varsity. To avoid any last minute confusions, the MCQ Question Banks will be provided to candidates before the exam.
Decision Confirmed by Education Minister
The news about Mumbai University providing MCQ Question Banks to the students prior to the holding of Final Year Exams 2020 was confirmed by Maharashtra State Technical & Higher Education Minister Uday Samant. Mr Samant took to twitter to inform that following a discussion with MU Vice Chancellor Mr.Pednekar, it was decided that the University will provide students with a proper MCQ Question Bank. The question bank will be made available to the students at-least two days prior to the exam date.
Exam to be in MCQ format, No Revaluation Allowed
Mumbai University also confirmed that Final Year Exams 2020 for College and University students would be held in online format with question papers being in MCQ format. This formula will be followed everywhere, except only in a few cases where the students have not appeared for the exams, they would be conducted physically or in offline mode. University officials have also informed that as the exams are being held in MCQ format, students will not be allowed to register for re-evaluation of their answer sheets.
2.22 Lakh Students to Appear for Exams
According to the tentative details provided by Mumbai University, around 2.22 lakh students who are in their Final Year are expected to appear for the Exams starting from 1st October 2020. The MU Final Year Exams 2020 include students from across Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Ratnagiri, Thane and Raigad. A total of 158 exams are planned across various subjects and programmes.
