NIFT 2022 Exam Mode Changed: With the COVID-19 cases continuing to rise across the country, the NIFT 2022 entrance exam mode has been changed by the exam authorities keeping safety of the candidates in mind. As per the latest update, the National Institute of Fashion Technology will now conduct the entrance exam in online format as a remote proctored test. Earlier, the entrance exam was to be held in offline mode i.e. as pen and paper-based exam. The exam authority has issued an official notification confirming the change in the exam mode for NIFT CAT / GAT 2022 entrance test which is scheduled to be held on 6^th February 2022. Complete Details to be Released on 23^rd January

As of now NIFT has only notified that the exam mode for the fashion technology entrance exam is being changed and that it will now be held as an online proctored test. However, it has not announced any specific changes in the exam format or test structure as such. The official notification released by NIFT reads “The details of conduct of the examination and detailed instruc4ons for the same will be no4fied on the NIFT website on 23rd Jan, 2022.” Therefore, candidates who are registered to appear for the NIFT CAT / GAT Exam 2022, will now have to wait for a couple of days to get updates about NIFT 2022 Examination.

About NIFT 2022 Admission Processs

NIFT 2022 is an institute-level entrance exam which is conducted to streamline admission process to different design courses offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. The entrance exam is held in two parts i.e. CAT i.e. Creative Ability Test (CAT) and GAT i.e. General Ability Test. Candidates who clear or qualify in these two tests will then have to undergo further screening rounds for admission to UG and PG courses offered by the institute. For candidates seeking admission to BDes courses, a Situation Test will be held as a further screening round and for MDes, MFM and MFTech Aspirants, the institute will hold Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview Round.
