Republic Day 2022: Education Ministry Tableau: India celenbrates its 73rd Republic Day today with special pride and pomp. The Republic Day 2022 is special as it falls in the 75th year of Independence, being celebrated as 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' across the country. As part of the celebrations, Union Education Ministry’s Tableau with theme 'Vedas to Metaverse' impressed audiences at Republic Day Parade 2022. The Tableau highlighted key aspects of National Education Policy 2020 depicting education system that is rooted in culture while also addressing 21st Century Requirements of Students.
Republic Day 2022: Education Ministry Tableau Theme
The theme for Education Ministry Tableau for Republic Day 2022 was 'Vedas to Metaverse'. The tableau contained different visual elements and presented story of India’s Education System from ancient times to the modern era. The front part of the tableau was dedicated to highlighting the glorious past in the Education Arena and the contributions of Vedas, the gurukul system of education and ancient universities such as Nalanda, which made India the Global Education hub then.
The central section of the tableau was dedicated to innovation and creativity which was symbolized by glowing blub. The last part of the tableau was dedicated to showcasing how India’s has balanced its education system to remain deeply rooted in its cultural past while also pushing the ball ahead in terms of technology and skills of the modern day. It also contained a digital screen in the form of book, which signified the multidisciplinary education, Research & Innovation, Startups, Robotics and Metaverse.
The Tableau also contained images of educationists/scientists from ancient times to the modern age on both sides. The tableau was accompanied by a procession of students which signifies skill development, joyful learning, and the latest technologies like Virtual Reality.
