UP School Reopening News: As per the latest news coming in, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister has hinted that Schools may remain completely closed for this month owing to the compelling circumstances presented by the pandemic. Interacting with media persons, UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, who also holds the portfolio of Education Minister, informed them that the chances of state’s decision of partial reopening of schools from September 21 are extremely bleak.  Earlier, there were reports which hinted that UP Govt may allow partial reopening of schools for students of Class 9 and above from 21st Sept onwards in line with the Unlock 4.0 Guidelines of the Central Govt.

Safety of Students Top Priority

During a recent media interaction, he said that "It is very unlikely that schools can be allowed to function partially. It is not possible to run schools, even partially, at least, for this month. Safety of the students is a big issue and it cannot be compromised.” According to the details provided by the Deputy Chief Minister, as of now there has been no final decision with regards to allowing partial reopening of schools in the state from 21st Sept 2020. Media agencies have reported that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would be taking a final call on whether schools will reopen this month or not soon. However, students and parents have been against the idea of partial reopening of schools in Sept in the light of the rising number of Coronavirus infections in the state.

Compartmental Exams on 3rd October
