Kishinchand Chellaram (KC) College in Mumbai is to host a one-day special technical session of the fifth International Symposium on Nuclear and Analytical Chemistry. The symposium is to be held in collaboration with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and will be mutually funded by DAE- BRNS (Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences and Department of Atomic Energy).
Through holding a day long technical session Kishinchand Chellaram (KC) College will mark and celebrate its diamond jubilee this New Year.
However, the symposium event is yet to be held and shall run for 4 days at BARC, Trombay.
The host being KC College will commence its prestigious special technical session on 22 January, 2014.
A large number of delegates from both India and international countries are anticipated to arrive as well as participate in the Symposium.
KC College will act as a facilitator for young academicians and research scientists by helping them to network with the best scientists and personalities in the respective fields.
The former 3 symposia took place in Canada, while another one on Nuclear and Analytical Chemistry-IV was hosted at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai, India.
The approaching NAC-V would be on the theme of Analytical Chemistry in Nuclear Science and Technology. This event is to provide a forum for exchanging the latest developments in nuclear analytical chemistry on the basis of utilization of research reactors, accelerators and radiotracers.
It is expected that both fundamental and applied aspects of the subject area shall be discussed in several technical sessions.
