AP to Conduct Intermediate Exams Separately from Next Year
AP to conduct the intermediate exams from 11 March 2015. AP tried all means to jointly conduct the examination but Telengana did not agree to the proposal.
Just after Telengana constituted its new Intermediate Board, Andhra Pradesh government also came up with the conclusion that they would conduct the intermediate exams from 11 March 2015 separately.
Speaking on the topic, Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that they have made all the efforts to conduct the intermediate examination in the coming year with Telengana, but the ministers of Telengana did not agree to the proposal. He more added that Chief Secretary of AP also spoke with Telengana chief secretary, but the issue did not resolve. AP government has also tried to bring in the Governor’s notice, so that things between Telengana and AP may change, but all in vain.
Moreover, Rao also said that the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act evidently states that common admission examinations should continue for a period of 10 years.
