Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has commenced its admission Procedure for the new academic session 2014-15 with the sale of admission prospectus. The students residing in Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh can begin applying for securing admission seats in Undergraduate, Masters programmes or Diploma course.
The Application forms can be obtained from PAU to apply for undergraduate programmes of 4 year duration covering B.Sc Agriculture (Honors.), B.Sc Biotechnology (Honors), BTech Food Technology, B.Sc (Honors) Home Science, B.Sc (Honors) Fashion Designing, B.Sc (Honors) Interior Design and B.Sc (Honors) Nutrition and Dietetics, informed B S Sohal, Additional Director Communication. He further stated that the varsity is offering B.Sc. Agri. (Hons.) of 6-year duration and 5-year Integrated M.Sc (Hons.) in Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Zoology programmes. The forms for the same are open to avail at the campus.
The students who are seeking admission to various Masters' and M. Tech. programmes can acquire respective prospectus from the Centre for Communication and International Linkages, PAU in Ludhiana.
To know detailed information about course, eligibility criteria, entrance test information, course fee and other related information, interested candidates must visit official PAU website: (www.pau.edu).
It must be noted that the deadline to apply for the academic programmes with entrance test is 9 May 2014. Whereas form submission with late fee is allowed till 16 May 2014.
The last date to apply for the course and programmes without having entrance test as criteria for selection can apply by submitting the form till 18 June 2014 whereas last date for application with late fee is set as 25 June 2014, as told by an official at PAU.
