Q. Chilling out with your favourite music wearing headphones/earphones can lead the bacteria to thrive inside your ears!
Ans. Most of us are well aware of the fact that prolonged exposure to fast and loud music may induce hypertension and cause hearing impairment. Now a days, we prefer to listen to music using ear phones or head phones while working, travelling, walking, exercising, etc. Whenever we are listening to music using headphones we are actually giving a call to the bacteria. Headphones cover up our ears cutting off their contact with the natural air due to which sweat and moisture collect on the skin under the headphones, therefore encouraging bacteria and yeast to multiply. It has been observed that wearing headphones for just an hour can increase the bacteria in our ears by a whopping 700 times. Our ear drums can not bear influx of bacteria in that quantity so they start to react by hurting or itching in long run.
