Army Public School, Clement Town, Dehradun was established on 01 Oct 1980 as a Primary School. In May 1982 the school was upgraded to Secondary School. The first batch of Class X appeared in the Board Exam in Mar 1985. In Oct 1990 the school was upgraded to Plus 2 level. In Mar 1992 first batch of Class XII appeared in the Board Exam. The Army Public School earlier was functioning in 22 barracks. Now school has been shifted to its new building on 06 June 2014. Therefore it is a reputed school for applicants who aspire to be nation builders by instilling positive values in coming generations.
