ASRB modified educational qualifications for 9 disciplines for NET Examination from the current session i.e., October 2012

Agriculture Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) modified educational qualifications for 9 disciplines for NET Examination from the current session i.e., October 2012. Also, the eligibility required for appearing in Net Examination will be calculated as on 31 October 2012 instead of 1 August 2012.

ASRB modified educational qualifications for Dairy Technology, Veterinary Surgery, Fisheries Resource Management, Agronomy, Soil Sciences, Agricultural Extension, Land and Water Management Engineering, Agricultural Process Engineering, and Food Technology. However, the basic qualification of having a Masters Degree in the concerned discipline with specialization remains the same.

ASRB is expected to soon release its notification for ARS Examination separately. The syllabus, however, for both ARS and NET examinations will be same.

The NET Examination 2012 will be conducted in 55 disciplines on 24 February 2013 from 10 am to 12 noon at 33 centres across the country.
