Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is a Central University situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1996, the university is named after Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. It invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for the courses mentioned below

• PhD Programmes: The University offers PhD in all the subjects of the PG programmes mentioned above except Brain and Cognition Sciences

• Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30 April 2012
• Dates for the Entrance Test: 30 May 2012- 5 June 2012

Selection Procedure for Admission in BBAU

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the University

Prospectus containing applications form for entrance test can be obtained from the University Office on cash payment. Note: In case of PhD programmes, candidates exempted from Entrance test (NET / GATE / GPAT) may send their completed application form directly to The Controller of Examination, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar, Raebareli Road, Lucknow- 226025

Application Fee:

• For PG Programmes: Rs 400 (Rs 100 for SC/ ST/ PH candidates)
• For PhD Programmes: Rs 500 (Rs 125 for SC/ ST/ PH candidates)
