The candidates who are appearing for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)-2015 exam must be aware of all the eligibility conditions for the exam as incase if any candidate fails to comply with any of the eligibility conditions, the candidature of the candidate may be cancelled. Eligibility criteria for a candidate to appear in the BCECE are as follows.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate must have cleared chemistry, physics and mathematics or biology as the main subjects in class XII.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the class XII board examination in 2015 are also eligible for the exam.
  • There is no age limit for engineering aspirants.
  • Candidates must satisfy all the above mentioned conditions for appearing in the BCECE-2015 exam.

 
Reservation of Seats:
A certain percentage of seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC & other categories. Candidates can check the category wise BCECE-2015 reservation of seats which has been mentioned below in the table. Candidates have to score the minimum cutoff marks for claiming the seats. Candidates can claim for their seats by presenting all the required documents at the time of counselling. All the documents presented by a candidate must be duly attested by a gazetted government officer.

  • The remaining seats will be for the candidates falling under general category.
  • Any candidate from any other state than Bihar will not be able to claim for the seat reservation.
  • Candidates failing to present the required documents on time will not be able to claim reservation on these seats and will be allotted seat under general category.
