• Opening date for applying online: 9 January 2012
• Last date for applying online: 4 February 2012
• Last date for receipt of online application: 13 February 2012

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2011): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 37 years (40 years for female candidates)

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 1000 and fee for SC/ ST candidate of Bihar domicile is Rs 250. Application fee is to be deposited in the BSEB current A/C number (Power Jyoti) 31963202219 in any State Bank of India branch by filling a triplicate Challan which may be downloaded from the website and then obtain Journal Number from the bank.

Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will consist of written/ viva voce test.
