Online application submission has been stretched for BOB recruitment 2016. Bank of Baroda (BOB) will now accept applications for Specialist Officer (SO) posts till 02 December.
Candidates who are yet to apply for Specialist Officer post at Bank of Baroda should note that the last date for submission of application has been revised to 02 December instead of 29 November. Apart from this no other change has been notified by the Bank.
Bank of Baroda had announced of 1039 vacancies for Specialist Officer post on 09 November. Vacancies are available in various disciplines like marketing, planning, risk management, etc. Interested candidates have to go through the eligibility criteria set by the Bank and apply against the vacancies.
Interested and eligible candidates can then submit their application at the web portal of the Bank along with application fee of Rs 600 (Rs 100 for SC/ ST/ Persons with Disability).

Graduates can apply for the posts. However educational qualification varies for few posts in disciplines like Credit Analyst, Planning, IT -Data Scientist, Official Language, HRM, etc. Candidates should note that candidates having PG Degree (MMS or MBA)/PG Diploma with more than two specialisations are not eligible to apply. For posts other than in IT Stream candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Candidates will be selected through strict selection procedure. The selection process will comprise of online written test, for the post of Scale I, in the discipline of Fire and Planning, followed by GD/Interview of the shortlisted candidates. For the posts in Scale II, Scale III & Scale IV applications will be shortlisted and candidates will then be called for GD/interview. However, for Scale II and Scale III, if the number of eligible applications received is large, then Bank reserves the right to hold an online written test also.
For written test, candidates will be allowed 02 hours (200 questions). The maximum marks will be 200.
Psychometric Test/GD/ &/or PI shall be conducted to assess the candidate’s personality, level of communication, clarity & problem solving innovativeness, level of efficiency, willingness to work in any part of the country, suitability for the post etc. The minimum qualifying marks for GD/PI would be 40% for General Category and 35% for Reserved Category.
