Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the BPSC AE 2020 exam for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers in Bihar state services. The BPSC Assistant Engineer (Civil) exam which was scheduled to be held on 13 July & 14 July now stands postponed. Also, BPSC AE Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) exam which was set to be held on 16th July & 17th July has also been postponed. As per the exam postponement notice released by BPSC @ bpsc.bih.nic.in, the new exam date of BPSC AE Civil & BPSC AE Electrical/ Civil/Mechanical Recruitment will be announced later. Candidates who have applied for assistant engineer vacancy 2020 should frequently visit the official website to get the latest updates of the exam.
BPSC AE (Civil) Recruitment 2020 was announced in March 2020 to fill 31 vacancies of Civil Engineers. On the other hand, BPSC AE (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) Recruitment 2020 was announced in April to fill 255 vacancies of Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers. Lakhs of candidates have already applied for the recruitment to get job in Bihar state services. BPSC AE 2020: Exam Details
In order to get job as assistant engineer in Bihar, candidates need to appear for an exam. The BPSC AE Exam is held offline in pen and paper mode. The exam is conducted in objective multiple choice questions (MCQ) format. There are a total of 6 papers in the BPSC AE exam - four compulsory and two options. The compulsory papers are - General English, General Hindi, General Engineering Science and General Studies. The Optional Papers are Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – 1 and Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – 2. Let's have a look at the BPSC AE Exam Pattern below:
