BSF Recruitment 2016 for 622 ASI & Head Constable posts: Border Security Force (BSF) invited applications for 622 Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) & Head Constable (HC) posts. The eligible candidates can apply online to the post through the BSF’s Recruitment Portal latest by 15 July 2016.

Under BSF Recruitment 2016 for 622 ASI & Head Constable 152 posts posts Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) and 470 posts of Head Constable (HC) have been advertised.
Eligibility Criteria and Educational for Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI - RM) – Matric with 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from any institution recognized by the Central Government or State government or 10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of Fifty percent with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution.
Eligibility Criteria and Educational for Head Constable (HC – Radio Operator) – Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution.
The candidate in the age group of 18-25 Years (as on 15.07.2016) may apply to these posts. Relaxation in upper age limited for OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.
Selection Procedure for BSF Recruitment 2016 for 622 ASI & Head Constable
First phase:
- OMR Test of 2 hours duration consisting of questions from English & General Knowledge, Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry, 25 questions from each.
- Descriptive Test - The candidates who qualifies OMR based written test will appear in descriptive test. A separate call letter will be issued to all qualified candidates by recruitment centre concerned to attend the descriptive test !s well Second phase.
Second Phase: Physical Test – Preliminary screening followed by Physical Efficiency Test
