Canara Bank PO (Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance, PGDBF) Exam 2018 is scheduled to be held on 4th March. Don’t study anything new
During the last week before the exam, you should focus only on revision. It’s not the time to start or study new topics. So, avoid starting new topics. By now, you must be aware of your strong and weak areas or topics in particular subjects. Candidates are advised to revise their weak areas again and again.
Keep revising General Awareness
Revise general awareness through your notes. General Awareness can play a vital role in increasing your score in the exam as you can solve maximum number of questions in less time. Candidates can divide their general awareness section into three parts i.e. Current Affairs, Static GK and Banking and Economy. Collect your entire notes and draw a plan for quick revision.
Clear up doubts
If a doubt troubles you, clear it up from your mentors or tutors immediately. There are many online tutorials which provide doubt clearing classes/sessions for bank recruitment exams.
Adopt elimination strategy
Sometimes you can easily get the answer by just checking the given options. In case you are not sure about an answer; try to eliminate the option which you know are definitely wrong. In this way, the probability of choosing the right answer will increase.
Beware of negative marking
Candidates should avoid negative marking as it can decrease your score. Read and understand questions carefully before marking the answer. Do not ever think of attempting more questions in case you are not sure about them.

Don’t waste your time by sticking to just one question. If you are not getting the right answer, switch to the next question immediately.

Many candidates constantly doubt their ability and skills. Believing in yourself is very important to get success. When you believe in yourself; you gain confidence. Confidence is the key to success. So, don’t panic on the exam day. Do not be afraid of the difficulty of the test. Be confident and give your best shot.
Sleep Well
Keep yourself calm and relaxed before the day of examination. Get a good sleep and stay calm on the exam day and give your best performance. It will help you to improve your speed and accuracy in the exam.
Reach the Venue before 30 minutes
It is essential for candidates to reach the examination venue before time. Try to reach the place 30 minutes prior to the time of examination. This will help you to avoid all kind of discomfort and problems that may arise while transportation. It is advisable for the appearing candidates to visit the examination centre a day before the examination so that you can get an idea about the exact location of the exam centre.

Carry all essential documents
While appearing for the Online Test the candidate should produce original and a copy of the photo identity (bearing exactly the same name as it appears on the call letter) such as PAN Card / Passport / Driving License / Voters Card / Bank Pass Book with Photograph / Photo embossed Credit Card / Aadhaar Card for verification. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt, the candidate will not be allowed for Online Test / Group Discussion / Interview. In case of candidates who have changed their name, they will be allowed only if they produce original Gazette notification / their original marriage certificate / affidavit in original.
