CBSE Class 10 Result 2017: Declaration date yet to be confirmed

    CBSE Class 10 Result, CBSE Result 2017For the CBSE Class 10 students,  who have been waiting  for their CBSE Class 10 Results 2017, the stakes are high as the date of declaration of the result is still not confirmed. The Board has already declared the results for CBSE Class 12 on 28th May, but has not released any notification regarding the declaration of CBSE Class 10 results. However, as per media reports, it is likely to be announced on 2nd June on CBSE’s official websites www.cbse.nic.in and www.cbseresults.nic.in.

    This year 7,81,463 CBSE Class 10 students appeared in board’s school-based exam and 8,86,506 students took the board-based exam.

    As per the trend, the CBSE usually declares class 10th result few days after the class 12th result are announced. The  board is expected to announce the date a day before the result will be declared.

    Students can check their CBSE 10th Class Results by following the steps given below:

    • Log on to the CBSE’s official website cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
    • Click on CBSE 10 Board Results 2017 (All Regions)
    • Enter your roll number and other required details.
    • After submitting the details, the result will be displayed on the screen.
    • Click on 'Save' to download the CBSE Class 10 results 2017.
    • Take a printout for future reference.

    Also, students can get their results on the telephone numbers of NIC and MTNL through which results can be accessed through IVRS.

    Students can check their CBSE Class 10 Result 2017 via SMS by sending the message from their registered mobile number in the format ‘cbse 10 [rollno]’ to:

    • MTNL: 52001; BSNL: 57766; Aircel: 5800002; Idea: 55456068; Airtel: 54321202.

    Students can also get  their CBSE Class 10 result mark sheet 2017 online from Digital Locker. The DigiLocker account details will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE.

    Previous Year stats of CBSE Class 10 Result:

    Last year, the CBSE Class 10 Results were announced on28th May, in which girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.36 percent, while boys had a pass percentage of 96.11 per cent.

    Delay in CBSE Results 2017 due to Delhi HC’s order to stay with marks moderation policy:

    This year the results of the CBSE class 10 and 12 exams were withheld following a notice from Delhi High Court asking the board not to do away with the marks moderation policy.  The CBSE had sought a legal opinion on whether it should challenge the verdict of the Delhi High Court on the marks moderation policy. However, to avoid a delay in the declaration of the results, the Board decided not to approach the Supreme Court.
