The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare its Class 12 (XII) results on 28 May 2012 at 11 'o' clock in the morning. CBSE conducted the Class 12 Final Exam between March and April 2012. Around 769929 students appeared in CBSE class 12 exams from all over India in 2012. Thus the results today, the 28 May 2012 will decide the fate of all the 769929 students. Their scores achieved by them will be a deciding factor for their admission to courses and colleges in different universities.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) functions under the overall supervision of the Controlling Authority which is vested with the Secretary Education, Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Back in 2011, the overall pass percentage was 79.87. The pass percentage of girls was 85.28 as compared to that of boys which was 75.90. The girls did fairly well as compared to the boys. The pass percentage of regular students was 81.95 as compared to 41.99 of private/ patrachar candidates.
