Find CBSE Class 12 Physics Practice Paper (Set-VI) for the coming exam. This paper contains important questions from 6th unit (Wave optics and Ray optics) of physics. These questions will not only help the students to prepare for exams in a better manner, but will also help them in understanding the depth with which a topic should be studied.

Few sample questions from the Question Paper are given below:

Q. Arun has always been a topper of his class. But for the last few months his mother is observing a drastic fall in his performance. He often complains of a headache to his mother. His cautious mother takes him to the eye specialist for eye checkup who prescribed him spectacles of suitable power.

(i) What value you have observed in Arun's mother?

(ii) What are various types of defects of vision?

Q. Two polaroid X and Z are kept in crossed position. How a third Polaroid Y should be placed between them so that the intensity of polarized light transmitted by polaroid Y reduces to 1/8th of the intensity of unpolarised light incident on X.

Q. How does the frequency of a beam of ultraviolet light get affected when it goes from air into glass? A ray of light incident on an equilateral glass prism shows minimum deviation of 300. Calculate the speed of light through the glass prism.

Q. State reasons to explain these observations:

(a) The bluish colour predominates in clear sky.

(b) Violet colour is seen at the bottom of the spectrum when white light is dispersed by a prism.

Q. Define resolving power of a microscope. How it is affected when

(i) The wavelength of illuminating radiations is decreased?

(ii) The diameter of the objective lens is decreased?
